Frequently Asked Questions

Just like us humans, dogs vary in size and shape. Here is a general guideline to fit your dog appropriately for a dog collar. We recommend that you use a cloth measuring tape or you can use a piece of string and then measure it with a straight ruler.

• Take a measurement a few inches down from your dog's head and then add an inch for very small dogs or two inches for medium and large dogs.

• Allow sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and the dog's neck. Or you can measure his neck and add two inches.

• When the collar is on his neck it should allow you to slide two fingers under a properly fitting collar and your dog's neck. If there's extra room, you need a smaller size. If both fingers don't fit, the collar is too small.

   

A few things to keep in mind when you are sizing your dog for a collar. 1. It will not be the exact measurement of your dog's neck as that would make it too tight. 2. You don't want it to snag on anything so it shouldn't be too loose either. 3. You are aiming for a snug fit .. not too tight and not too loose. ALWAYS monitor your dog while he or she is on their leash with a collar, so they don't get caught on a fence or other environmental object that would cause them to choke.

Below is a guide for you to choose the correct size:

• XSmall /  adjusts 8"-11"

• Small / adjusts 10"-15"

• Medium / adjusts 14"-19”

• Large  / adjusts 18"-24"

• XLarge / adjusts 20"-29"

Processing + Shipping/Transit time = Delivery

• Important: The time it takes to receive your items includes Processing (the amount of time it takes us to make it) + Shipping Transit time (the amount of time it takes for the shipper to deliver it to you). For example, choosing a 1 Day Shipping service does not guarantee that you will receive it the day after you place your order.

• Transit/Delivery Times are in addition to the processing and preparation times.

• Business Days are Monday-Friday, excluding major holidays. Orders placed on non-business days are processed the following business day.

• Delivery Days for most major delivery services are Monday-Friday, and for USPS is Monday-Saturday. Sunday is not considered a shipping/delivery day.

• Guaranteed Delivery Date means the shipping carrier will supply a scheduled delivery date for the shipment.

• Non-Guaranteed Delivery Date means no delivery date will be supplied. The carriers will provide an estimated delivery date.

• During Holiday season the turnaround time might be longer than 3-5 business days.

   

Processing

All orders are processed, verified, and shipped in 3-5 business days or sooner unless it's noted at the top of our website. All orders are processed the next business day. During Holiday season the turnaround time might be longer than 3-5 business days. We are not responsible for orders lost in the mail, incorrectly supplied addresses, or unclaimed/refused packages. You can track your package using the supplied tracking number.

    United States:

• Standard Shipping: 3-7 Business Days Non-Guaranteed Delivery Date (PO & APO Boxes OK)

•  2 Day Shipping: 2 Business Days Delivery with Guaranteed Delivery Date

• 1 Day Shipping: 1 Business Day Delivery with Guaranteed Delivery Date

   

    International:

• USPS International Priority: 5-10 Business days Non-Guaranteed Delivery Date

   

Orange Dog Design Co. recommends tracking on all International purchases.  We are not responsible for goods lost by the postal system. Goods shipped without tracking are the responsibility of the buyer. 

Delivery time will depend on your country. (Usually between 5 - 10 business days however delays can occur.)

• We strive to support our international customers and we ship our items to all countries.

• Customs and other international delays are not included on transit time estimate.

• Some countries impose additional custom taxes and fees for imported items. We do not control or have knowledge of such fees. Please contact your local government agency for details on these fees. These customs and import processes can interfere with shipment arrival times. Please be aware of these potential delays that may occur.

Shipping to Post Office Boxes and A.P.O. Destinations

All Expedited Methods do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. destinations. Please choose a Standard option if you need your items to be delivered to one of these locations.

Please note that Orange Dog Design Co. can not take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post.

Please ensure that all of your shipping information details are correct before placing your order.

We are not responsible for any damage that is caused by your dog to any of the items.

We are not responsible for any returned packages lost in shipping.

Please supervise your pet while using Orange Dog Design Co. products.  Each consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of these products for their individual situation/dog.  Consumer accepts all responsibility by purchasing and using our products.  Pet apparel items should not be worn by the dog for extended lengths of time, nor while they are unattended.  Though we do our very best to create strong, re-enforced products we do not know the temperament and strength of your dog. Our products are not intended for powerful dogs that are rambunctious or destructive.
